Herwig Pecoraro

Herwig Pecoraro was born in Bludenz, studied in Feldkirch, Mantua and Modena and attended master classes with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. He was a member of the ensembles of the opera Graz and the Volksoper Vienna for several years. Guest performances brought the Austrian tenor i.a. to the Bregenz Festival, the Salzburg Festival, the opera houses of Bern, St. Gallen, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Nice, Toulouse, Milan, New York and San Francisco as well as to Japan. Herwig Pecoraro is an Austrian Kammersänger and president of the Solistenverband of the Wiener Staatsoper.
