WOLFSKINDER – feral children – is a metaphor for young people with problems, who are separated from their parents because their environment is seen as the cause of their problems. Fabian Weiß approaches the young people sensitively and with the skills of a great photographer. The book provides an authentic and empathetic view of unusual life stories within the German youth welfare services.

The book was awarded with the BFF-Förderpreis 2013. The award ceremony will be on 10th January, 2014 in Stuttgart.
