At the Salzburg Easter Festival, in the Patrons’ Lounge at the Großes Festspielhaus, author Clemens Trautmann, President of Deutsche Grammophon, and Lois Lammerhuber, publisher of Edition Lammerhuber, who took the photographs for the book, talked with the maestro about conducting. After Berlin, the book presentation stopped in Salzburg, before moving in August to the Bayreuth Festival, in October to the Vienna State Opera and in December to the Semperoper in Dresden.
