Clemens Hellsberg

Clemens Hellsberg was born in 1952 in Linz. He studied musicology and ancient history at Vienna University, where he took his degrees in 1980. At the same time, he studied violin at the Vienna Academy of Music. Since 1978, he has been a prime violinist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, whose chairman he became in 1997.
