Dominique Meyer and Lois Lammerhuber created a book for the Vienna Opera Ball each year \u2013 the so-called \u2018gentlemen\u2019s ball gift\u2019. Each book was dedicated to a facet of the Wiener Staatsoper as a complete work of art: PASSION dealt with the Wiener Staatsoper Orchestra, [E]MOTION with the Wiener Staatsballett, GLAMOUR with the costume workshops, ON STAGE with the stagehands, HARMONY with the ensemble of the Wiener Staatsoper, GENESIS with the creation of a premiere, CHORUS with the Wiener Staatsoper Choir, REPERTOIRE with the repertory of the Wiener Staatsoper and BEL CANTO with the singers of the 150-year history of the Wiener Staatsoper. This photo book is an homage to the house on the Ring and includes Lois Lammerhuber\u2019s favourite images from 10 years of collaboration.<\/p>\n
Ink pen drawings by Kammers\u00e4nger Benedikt Kobel, tenor and member of the Staatsoper ensemble, illustrate special moments from the seasons under Dominique Meyer\u2019s directorship.<\/p>\n
