Our book <strong>\u2018Aufgegessen!\u2019<\/strong> by <strong>Isolde &amp; Dieter Bornemann<\/strong> has been selected as a <strong>finalist<\/strong> for the <strong>\u2018World Cookbook Awards 2025\u2019<\/strong> and is thus one of the <strong>best sustainable cookbooks in the world<\/strong> \u2013 an international award that we are particularly pleased about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Aufgegessen!\u2019 stands for <strong>conscious enjoyment, appreciation of food and creative cuisine that combats waste<\/strong> \u2013 topics that are more relevant than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong> Gourmand World Cookbook Awards<\/strong> are considered one of the <strong>most prestigious international prizes for cookery, food and culture publications.<\/strong> Every year, they honour the best books in numerous categories \u2013 from traditional cookbooks and innovative concepts to topics such as sustainability and food culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, <strong>848 books from over 180 countries<\/strong> competed in various categories. A place in the competition finals means that a book is among <strong>the best in its category worldwide<\/strong> and is recognised internationally by experts in the culinary industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award ceremony took place from <strong>27 to 30 November 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,<\/strong> as part of the <strong>Saudi Feast Food Festival,<\/strong> an international event for cuisine, nutrition and food culture.
