11 million people have seen the exhibition Fields of Battle, Lands of Peace

Since the start in April 2014 of the exhibition project Fields of Battle, Lands of Peace, Mike St Maur Sheil’s pictures have been seen by over 11 million people in nine countries.

This makes Fields of Battle, Lands of Peace by far the most successful project of remembering the tragic years of World War I, 1914 -1918.

The series of exhibitions came to a close [B1] on Saturday, 17 November 2018, at noon, in St James‘s Park in London, next to the Guards Memorial opposite Horse Guards Parade. See also The Armed Man, performed in Worcester cathedral on 30 September 2017. Such an amazing and touching choir mass, sung against the backdrop of Mike’s photographs!
