HIJACKED EDUCATION

Diego Ibarra Sánchez’ searches have led him to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria und Lebanon. He has continuously documented the everyday life of children in refugee camps and in cities which have become theatres of war. There are destroyed and abandoned schools; teachers and pupils in exile; there are child soldiers, abductions and rapes. Books are being burned and identities stolen. These festering wounds of war write the future of millions of children in blood. Children who have lost their future.
