In addition, two Edition Lammerhuber books won in their respective categories; The Long Shadow of Chernobyl in the category Reportage and Buffalo Ballad in the category Nature Photography. The book IN/VISIBLE received a Special Mention.
Below the jury's arguments for our books:
The Long Shadow Of Chernobyl: "This book gives voices to the victims and strives to bring awareness to the disaster so as to prevent any repeat tragedies."
Buffalo Ballad: "Strong, clear, decisive images transform this ancient animal into an archetype that allows you to trace the history and evolution of a country in which technological progress vies with ecological balance."
IN/VISIBLE: "This chilling sequence of photographs, the product of a senseless barbarity, is a visible and courageous testimony to the force of life."
