FEP European Book Prize of the Year Award 2015

For the second time in a row Edition Lammerhuber received a prestigious award from the FEP (Federation of European Professional Photographers). On 14 April 2015, at the biannual  Rencontres de la Photographie Professionnelle in Montpellier, France, it was voted Best Publisher 2015.

“For the elegance of their books and the great attention paid to detail and for the courageous choice of subjects dealt with,” argued the international jury. 

In addition, two Edition Lammerhuber books won in their respective categories; The Long Shadow of Chernobyl in the category Reportage and Buffalo Ballad in the category Nature Photography. The book IN/VISIBLE received a Special Mention.

Below the jury’s arguments for our books:
The Long Shadow Of Chernobyl: “This book gives voices to the victims and strives to bring awareness to the disaster so as to prevent any repeat tragedies.”

Buffalo Ballad: “Strong, clear, decisive images transform this ancient animal into an archetype that allows you to trace the history and evolution of a country in which technological progress vies with ecological balance.”

IN/VISIBLE: “This chilling sequence of photographs, the product of a senseless barbarity, is a visible and courageous testimony to the force of life.”
