On 31 March 2017 a lot of people attended with great interest the opening reception of the travelling exhibition Fields of Battle, Lands of Peace: The Doughboys, 1917-1918 by Michael St Maur Sheil at World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City, USA. The book Fields of Battle, Lands of Peace 1914 – 1918 to accompany the exhibition was sold out quickly.
On 9 November 2016, the exhibition Bis zum Horizont (Towards the Horizon) of Russian photographer Emil Gataullin opened at GAF - Galerie für Fotografie in Hannover.
Peter Bauza was awarded with the Pangea Prize for "Copacabana Palace" and his images are shown in an exhibition at the photo festival Foianofotografie in Foiano della Chiana.

Edition Lammerhuber went home with no fewer than three Cubes. We are so pleased and especially happy for our authors,” said publisher Lois Lammerhuber.
For the second time in a row Edition Lammerhuber received a prestigious award from the FEP (Federation of European Professional Photographers). On 14 April 2015, at the biannual Rencontres de la Photographie Professionnelle in Montpellier, France, it was voted Best Publisher 2015.
Great honours at the oldest and most prestigious photojournalist competition in the world: the volume The Long Shadow of Chernobyl by well-known photographer Gerd Ludwig won him the Best Photography Book Award at the Pictures of the Year International (POYI) competition.
To present the book and exhibition project "We the Children" at the Frankfurt Book Fair UNICEF Germany and Edition Lammerhuber invited the visitors to the joint stand L67 / L73 in Hall 3.1 a. There over 50 lectures, discussions and other events dealing with children's rights were offered. On Friday of the Book Fair, the so called "Kids Friday", 500 pupils of the schools of Frankfurt visited the stand to learn more about the children's rights in a musical and interactive way.
On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, which is being observed on 21 September 2014, the Alfred Fried Photography Award 2014 for the World's Best Picture on the Theme of Peace, endowed with EUR 5,000, was given to the Russian photographer Emil Gataullin in connection with a celebration at the Austrian Parliament.

In a special ceremony at the Federal Chancellor’s Office in the Palais Niederösterreich, publisher and photographer Lois Lammerhuber was decorated with the Austrian Cross of Honour for Science and Art, First Class.
The Distance Between Usand Wolfskinder received ‘Silver 2014 ’ in the conceptual / artistic picture books category. Matthias Cremer – 25 Jahre DER STANDARD, EPHESOS – The Beauty of Destruction and GLAMOUR received the „Nominated 2014“ honourable mention in the coffee table book category at the 2014 German Photo Book Prize, which took place on 15 November 2013 at Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
Opera Ball organizer Desirée Treichl-Stürgkh and State Opera Director Dominique Meyer held a press conference at the Wiener Staatsoper to present the facts and figures of this year’s Opera Ball. Each year the male guests of the Ball are presented with a gift, in 2014 the opulent photo volume ON STAGE. As in previous years, it is the work of Edition Lammerhuber, who were greeted with great applause for the time lapse from the book recording the preparation of a stage set and changes between acts.
The book Wolfskinder is one of the winners of the Promotion Award 2013, set up by the German Association of Freelance Photographers, which will be presented on 10 January 2014 in Stuttgart.
In honour of Alfred Fried, who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1911, the Photographische Gesellschaft and Edition Lammerhuber have offered five Fried Award medals to mark the world’s best photographs on the theme of ‘Peace with Nature’.
On 18 November 2013 the volume Matthias Cremer - 25 Jahre DER STANDARD was presented in a room of the Austrian parliament. After the welcoming address by the presiding officer of the Austrian parliament, Barbara Prammer, the editor of the Standard newspaper, Oscar Bronner, publisher Lois Lammerhuber and author Gregor Auenhammer presented photographer Matthias Cremer and his momentous oeuvre that spans 25 years of contemporary Austrian history.
This year, for the 13th time, the Lower-Austrian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Initiativen Wirtschaft für Kunst and with the support of ecoplus – the Business Agency of Lower Austria, awarded the Lower-Austrian Arts Sponsorship Award MAECENAS. The MAECENAS gala was held on 20 November 2013 in Melk Abbey.
